Workshop: Understanding Compassion Fatigue & Building Resilience

Working in busy caregiving roles can be stressful for everyone at times and minding ourselves is becoming more and more important these days. Symptoms of stress can include an on-going feeling of exhaustion, irritability, feeling isolated, sleeplessness, anxious etc. This workshop is a deeply relaxing, hands-on day to learn about greater self-care and optimum stress management. You will learn tools to handle unhealthy symptoms of fatigue to help you thrive in your work and personal life. The workshop includes a number of body wellness practices which can be used for stress reduction on-the-go.

- Defining how compassion fatigue feels to you
- Its causes and typical symptoms experienced by caregivers
- Ascertaining an accurate picture of your current stress levels

The workshop includes experiencing very relaxing body wellness techniques plus a range of useful take home tools.
